The Western Province Cricket Association will be hosting Coaching Courses during the June/July school holidays at Sahara Park Newlands. Registration is now open for all the following courses:

All candidates must complete and return a copy of the W.P.C.A application form which is available on request.

CSA Orientation Course - Duration 6 hours (3 x 2 hour Modules)

Dates:
Tuesday 26 June 2012                    : 15h00 - 17h00
Wednesday 27 June 2012               : 15h00 - 17h00
Thursday 28 June 2012                   : 15h00 - 17h00
Orientation prepares candidates for some coaching duties and for possible inclusion in the Level One course.

CSA Level One Course - Duration 15 hours (6 x 3 hour Modules) + exam

Dates
Monday 9 July 2012                       : 2 modules (a) 09h30 - 12h30 and (b) 13h30 - 16h30
Tuesday 10 July 2012                     : 2 modules (a) 09h30 - 12h30 and (b) 13h30 - 16h30
Wednesday 11 July 2012                : 1 module 09h30 - 12h30
Exam / Evaluation module: Thursday 12 July 2012 at 09h30.
Closing date for all entries on this course is Thursday 4 July 2012.

CSA Level Two Courses: July - September 2012

The following opportunities are next available in the period of July - September.
*A Level Two candidate must be at least 21 years of age. He / She should have been a holder of a CSA Level One certificate for a minimum of 12 months or be a previously accredited Level Two coach (under the previous UCB structure). The Level Two course serves as a possible entry level for those with First Class playing experience. There is NO exemption for league cricketers.

CSA Coaching Course: Consisting of 8 x 3 hour modules and exam (mornings)

Introductory Module: Tuesday 24 July at 09h30
Subsequent modules will take place on TUESDAY and THURSDAY mornings as follows:
Module Dates (Tuesdays): July 31, August 07, August 14 and August 21.
Module Dates (Thursdays): July 26, August 02 and August 16.

All modules from 09h30 to 12h30 daily
Venue: Sahara Park Newlands (details will confirmed)
Exam date: Thursday 23 August at 10h00

Closing date for Course Applications: Monday 09 July
Course material to be collected by that date
Submission of Pre-course Assignments by Wednesday 11 July 2012.

A second couse will be held after the end of the month of Ramadaan.

CSA Level Two Course: Consisting or 8 x 3 hour modules & exam

Introductory Module: Monday 20 August 2012 at 18h00
Subsequent modules will take place on MONDAY and WEDNESDAY evenings
Module Dates (Mondays): August 22, September 03 and September 10
Module Dates (Wednesday): August 22, August 29, September 05 and September 12.
Exam date: Thursday 13 September 2012.

All modules from 18h00 - 21h00
Venue: Sahara Park Newlands (details will be confirmed)

Closing date for Applications: Thursday 2 August 2012
Course material must collected by then
Submission of Pre-course Assignements by Wednesday 8 August 2012.
