The Cobras are the log leaders at the halfway-stage, and Adams said the team want to sustain the style and mechanisms that put them at the summit of the table.
“Our top-four has been dynamic and has shown good form. They have batted us until the 35th over,” he added.
“Robin Peterson has been magnificent for us with the ball. And our seam bowlers have taken wickets at the death.
“It is critical that we set up a solid base, something we have done until now. It is also vital that our spinners take wickets in the middle period,” he added.
The Cobras have selected an exciting mix of exuberant youth and experience for the match against the Lions.
Six of the 13 squad members have represented South Africa in either T20-Internationals or One Day Internationals.
