MILNERTON AND GREEN POINT CHASING LEADERS OTTOMANS by Craig Young 22 February 2010
Log leaders Ottomans will be forced to fight all the way without slip ups if they hope to win the 1C title as Milnerton and Green Point are breathing down their necks. Ottomans and Milnerton clash in an all important top of the table clash which could determine the overall winner. Green Point certainly have their eyes on the trophy and get ready to face fourth placed Wynberg in a fortnight. These two games involving the top four are certainly going to be tough battles. At the other end another tough battle is taking place between bottom side Fish Hoek and second bottom Bishop Lavis. Both these sides are yet to record a win this season while third bottom Somerset West are also in the danger zone although they are 17 points ahead of Fish hoek, the boys from Radloffe Park are yet to play the Hoekers. ---Team--------------played--------------total pts-----------------ave pts Ottomans------------7--------------------143.125-----------------20.447 Milnerton-------------7--------------------133.700-----------------19.10 Green Point----------7--------------------133.625-----------------19.09 Wynberg-------------7---------------------111.100----------------15.872 Edgemead-----------6---------------------71.6---------------------11.934 Strandfontein-------7---------------------74.526------------------10.647 Langa----------------6----------------------52.05-------------------8.675 S/West---------------7---------------------57.425------------------8.204 Bishop Lavis---------7---------------------43.875------------------6.285 Fish Hoek------------7---------------------40.226------------------5.747 |
