COACHES ASSOCIATION MEETINGS AND TALKS USUALLY TAKE PLACE AT THE SOUTH CLUB, SAHARA PARK NEWLANDS. DURING THE SUMMER THE START TIME IS EITHER AT 19H00 OR 19H30. IN WINTER TIMES ARE OFTEN SLIGHTLY EARLIER, BUT DATES / TIMES ARE FLEXIBLE TO FIT IN WITH THE AVAILABILITY OF THE LEADING SPECIALISTS AND VISITING SPORTS PERSONALITIES. THE FOLLOWING HAVE APPEARED AS GUEST SPEAKERS AT COACHES ASSOCIATION MEETINGS DURING THE PAST FEW YEARS: MICKEY ARTHUR; MUSTAQ AHMED; VINCENT BARNES; JOHN  BUCHANAN; SHUKRI CONRAD; NATALIE DU TOIT; JEREMY FREDERICKS; GARY KIRSTEN; PROF TIM NOAKES; PADDY UPTON; CORRIE VAN ZYL; VINCE VAN DER BIJL; JAKE WHITE; ERIC SIMONS. 

  ·         To provide a forum for the future improvement of cricket coaching.·         To promote excellence in cricket coaching within our clubs, schools and the wider community of the Western Cape region. ·         To provide enlightenment and learning for our coaches in all aspects of the game; in particular to encourage them to follow holistic life-styles. ·         To create opportunities for the advancement of local cricket coaches. ·         To foster relationships, good fellowship and a common purpose amongst its members, and with other members of the South African cricketing fraternity. ·         To pursue the above objectives in an equitable and sustainable manner; giving due regard to national policies of transformation and transparency.·
