The visitors scored 239 in the first innings and 169 in the second innings. Beuran Hendricks excelled with the ball when he returned home with overall bowling figures of 9 wickets for 61 runs (3 in the first innings and 6 in the second innings). After declaring on 373 for 6, WP had a first innings lead of 134 runs. Captain Matthew Kleinveldt and Qaasim Adams put the team in command when they produced a third wicket partnership of 130 runs, Adams 78 and Kleinveldt 83. Sybrand Engelbrecht (50) and Bradley Barnes (60 not out) also contributed well with the bat.
After being dismissed all out for 169 in the second innings, the visitors only managed to put up a second innings' lead of a mere 27 runs giving the hosts a target of 28 runs which they had no difficulty reaching it without any wicket lost to give themselves a 10 wickets win over KZN-Inland.
