Western Province Cricket Association would like to extend their humble apologies to the spectators that waited outside Sahara Park Newlands on Day 2 for the Sunfoil Test match.
The ticket system went down due to technical problems, but the WPCA would like to assure the public that the technicians were working around the clock to ensure that it is up and running.
The WPCA is delighted to announce that tickets for Day two are sold out.
Tickets sales for Day 3, will open after tea today. There are only 3000 tickets left for sale to the public. The WPCA urge the public to use Postnet branches or book online on www.ticketpros.co.za to avoid congestion at the ticket office.
Details for the remaining few days of the Test match are as follows:
Starting time: 10h30 daily
Public gates open at: 08h30
Ticket prices: Adults – R80 (seat) & R70 (grass); Children U/16 – R80 (seat) & R50 (grass)
Campground Road is closed from 07h00 – 18h00 daily and all vehicles will pass through a remote search park in Campground Road. Spectators are encouraged to arrive at the ground early to avoid long queues and possible traffic jams when gates open at 08h30 to the public.
