The first semi-final featured Blue Bells CC going up against Panorama PS in a 15 over match. Panorama PS went in to bat first and scored a total of 62 runs in their given amount of overs. Blue Bells CC tried their best to get to the score posted to them, but fell short by 3 runs as they scored 59 runs in their innings.
The next semi-final had Kenridge PS facing Western Province Cricket Club (WPCC). WPCC went in to bat first and managed to score 141 with Lehan Botha top scoring with 50 runs. Kenridge PS went in next and despite a terrific innings from Francois Joubert, who scored 75 runs not out, his team fell short by 20 runs only managing to score 121 runs in their 15 overs.
The two earlier results on the day, saw the final two spots being occupied by WPCC and Panorama PS. WPCC and Panorama PS would face off in the final to gain bragging rights in the Knockout Competition.
Panorama went in to bat first and scored a defendable 123 all out in 19 overs. WPCC didn’t take long to get to the target, reaching 124 runs for the loss of two in only 13 overs. WPCC finished the day as the 2013/14 Feedem Pitseng Knockout Competition winners, via an eight wicket victory over runners-up Panorama PS.
